Slate. Charcoal. Smoky.

I know what you’re thinking…Why didn’t I call this color series “Fifty Shades of Grey?” Well for starters, everybody and their momma seems to use that term ever since that book and movie came out, so it just seemed too cliché to use. Also, Nobody wears 50 shades of grey at once nor am I wearing 50 shades in this post.

I usually take more of the monochromatic approach when it comes to most of the colors I wear. If I wear the same color from head to toe, I like for it to match exactly (i.e. All Grey Everything). Grey, however, is one color that is extremely hard to match perfectly, which would explain the term “Fifty Shades.” Luckily, Grey-On-Grey in different shades just seems to work no matter what two shades you put together.

As you know, I have a love for neutrals, and grey definitely fits into this category. Light Grey is my favorite. Light grey hair has been a popular look for quite some time now for those who are daring enough to try it. Matte grey nail polish is always a go-to of mine for a classic yet trendy look. And even the next Adidas Yeezy 750 Boosts will be released in a Light Grey colorway with a Glow-in-the-dark Gum Bottom on June 11th. Definitely need to cop those!

What is your favorite way to rock Grey?
