Christmas tends to be a favorite Holiday for most people…unless of course you work in retail like I do. Don’t get me wrong, I love Christmas! But the extra long hours, hectic-ness of the Holidays, and inability to take vacation at this time of the year can really put a damper on things.
What I do really enjoy are all of the unique decor associated with the season and all of the festive drinks that go along with it! Even when you get busy during this time of year, I think it’s important to still take time to enjoy the things that are unique to Christmas. Here are some of my favorites:
1. Gift Giving: We all know that the season is about giving, not receiving. So why not enjoy it? I love shopping for my family and friends. 3. Ice Skating: I’d say that the one place everyone needs to visit in Arizona would be Christmas at the Princess at the Fairmont Princess Hotel in Scottsdale. From the ice skating rink to the rink side s’mores and Christmas lights, Christmas at the Princess is sure to keep the whole family entertained!
4. Flavored Hot Chocolate: We don’t drink a lot of this in Phoenix, which makes it even more special. My favorite this year is the Snickerdoodle Hot Chocolate at Starbucks. Yum!
5. Holiday Cocktails: Its so easy to take a classic cocktail and add a Holiday twist to serve at your Holiday parties. This year, I’m loving this Cranberry Mimosa with a sugar rim and fresh cranberries on top as a garnish!
