Pink Drink 3

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, I’m pretty sure you’ve seen this “Pink Drink” all over social media: A light pink beverage in a Starbucks cup with strawberries floating around with ice. So what’s it actually made of? It’s comprised of Starbuck’s Strawberry Acai Refresher, which is normally mixed with water, that is combined with coconut milk instead, poured over ice and topped with freeze dried strawberries. Delicious! Some even mix it with blackberries to create a “Purple Drink”…Lil Wayne would be so proud.

This drink has become so popular that some Starbucks locations have even temporarily ran out of the Strawberry Acai Base to make this concoction. The power of social media is real.

Curious how to make this for yourself without waiting in line for it? I’ve put together the recipe I used to make this “Pink Drink” taste exactly the same as the original with fresh strawberries instead. You’re welcome.
